Eduardo Ormaeche has worked continuously for Birding Ecotours since 2004. He started guiding tours in his native country of Peru and from there spread out into many South and Central American countries, birding, guiding, and co-guiding tours in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Guyana, Panama, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, Guatemala and the USA. Eduardo is the head of Birding Ecotours’ Peru office and coordinates most of our Neotropical trips. He enjoys traveling and showing birds to his clients. Eduardo’s logistics skills will provide you with the best facilities available in order to allow you the most enjoyable birding holiday.

Andy Walker, our full-time staff member who now lives in Indonesia, has developed a brilliant array of Australasian and Asian tours, over the last few years. Andy has spent the last 32 years birding extensively across the world with a focus in the Oriental, Australasian, and Western Palearctic regions, where he leads/guides many of our tours. Since 2017 with the founding of our US office, we also have an extremely solid offering of American tours with a great network of guides.

Bo Beolens is better known for his Fatbirder website or his writing as ‘the Grumpy Old Birder‘. For many years he has also created ‘bespoke’ tours for couples and friendship groups and led tours for birders with mobility issues as part of Birding For All. For Birding Ecotours Anytime he acts as a consultant and webmaster.
